Our Story
The year you remember most is rarely the year you remember best.
It's the one you wore. The hat you can't get rid of. The song that plays in the back of your head whenever the air smells the way it did that summer.
EPOCH is a wristwatch and pocket watch brand built around a simple idea: a year deserves more than a number. It deserves an object you can wear.
Every piece in our catalogue is named after the year it belongs to. 1925 because Gatsby was published and Paris named Art Deco. 1957 because Sputnik left the atmosphere and changed every calendar after it. 1989 because the Berlin Wall fell on live television in one afternoon.
We design and curate watches that hold the spirit of those years. Not vintage by accident. Vintage by intention.
Why we built this
The watch business is full of brands that explain how their movement works. Few explain why anyone would want to know what time it is in the first place.
Time, for us, is the only honest record of a life. Not the appointments. The moments. The train you almost missed. The mountain trail that stole your breath. The vows you whispered, the anniversaries you toasted, the night that ended at four in the morning at a kitchen table somewhere.
EPOCH is for the moments that mattered. The watch you wear isn't telling you the time. It's telling you when.
How we design
Every EPOCH piece is designed to feel like it could have come from the year it's named after. Tonneau cases for the 1920s, tanks for the 1930s, chronographs for the 1960s and 1970s, dual-time industrial for the late 1980s. We don't make watches that look "vintage-inspired." We make watches that look like they were made then.
Our materials are honest. Italian leather, surgical steel, sapphire crystal, mineral movements that hold time without needing a phone. Cases small when the era was small, bold when the era was loud.
What you're buying
A wristwatch you can wear tomorrow. A pocket watch you can hand down. An object made to outlive its trends, and yours.
A piece of a year you can carry with you, until the year carries you.
