1971 Le Mans watch from Le Mans, France — EPOCH (side profile)
After Midnight

Made for the wrist that grew up at the track.

The 1971 keeps a stopwatch in its head. The chronograph is for the seconds, the moonphase is for the rest. Worn with a jacket. Always with a story.

The Detail

The details a stopwatch trains.

It's the dial people lean in to read: the moonphase under the twelve, the rose gold catching the light. The kind of watch that gets noticed across a dinner table and asked about before the plates are cleared.

Owner Stories

Why they chose EPOCH

★★★★★

Like wearing a year

“It feels like wearing a piece of the year it's named after. The era settles into the wrist, and that's what stays with you.”

★★★★★

The detail is the point

“I bought it for the build. The detail is what stays. The dial, the case, the small things you only catch the second time you look.”

A collection, not a watch

“I bought one. A month later I wanted another decade. They turned what was a single purchase into a collection. I wasn't planning to start one.”

Le Mans, 1971

The year racing met the moon.

Apollo 14 reached the moon in February 1971, and Alan Shepard hit a golf ball on its surface for the cameras. David Bowie released Hunky Dory in December. Disney World opened in Florida. Steve McQueen filmed Le Mans, twenty-four hours of cinema with almost no dialogue.

This is a dress chronograph from that year. Rose gold case, multi-complication dial, fine sub-counters and the moonphase complication that the year called for.
