Made for someone who remembers the day everything shifted.
Across Timezones

Made for someone who remembers the day everything shifted.

On the ninth of November, a wall came down and the world stopped being two places. This watch keeps both: one face for here, one for elsewhere, and a window where you watch the machine hold them in step. The kind of piece that earns a second look once someone clocks the year it carries.

1989 New Wave watch from Berlin, Germany — EPOCH (side profile)
The Detail

The details a turning point leaves.

The industrial steel reads serious on the wrist, the brown leather warms it, and the open gears keep pulling a second glance. It feels less like a watch you bought and more like one you found from the year everything reconnected.

Owner Stories

Why they chose EPOCH

★★★★★

Like wearing a year

“It feels like wearing a piece of the year it's named after. The era settles into the wrist, and that's what stays with you.”

The detail is the point

“I bought it for the build. The detail is what stays. The dial, the case, the small things you only catch the second time you look.”

A collection, not a watch

“I bought one. A month later I wanted another decade. They turned what was a single purchase into a collection. I wasn't planning to start one.”

Berlin, 1989

The year a wall came down in one afternoon.

The Berlin Wall fell on November 9th, 1989, and the longest stand-off of the twentieth century ended on live television in one afternoon. Tim Berners-Lee proposed something called the World Wide Web in March. Madonna released Like a Prayer. Tiananmen Square was in June. The Pixar short Tin Toy won an Oscar.

This watch belongs to that hinge year. Dual-time face, exposed gears, the early industrial design language the 1990s would build into a movement.
